Touch Audible & Visual Alarm Speaker

This product is the audible and visual alarm in the Touch Enviro Monitoring Solutions range.

The Touch WiFi Alert is a standalone monitoring system for all sensors in the
WiFi range. The Alert will receive alarm messages from any Touch WiFi sensor
connected to the same wireless network. The Touch Alert indicates an alarm
activation using high brightness LEDs and a choice of 9 alarm tones.

Position the Wifi-Alert close to those that will need to respond to the alarm e.g. an office
or monitoring centre. This means that the Alert doesn’t need to sit next to the
sensor/s that it is monitoring as long as they are connected to the same wireless
network.

The Touch Alert has been designed to be continuously powered via the mains
however it does contain a rechargeable lithium polymer battery for device
positioning and limited power during the event of a mains failure.

The audible and visual WiFi signal strength indicator is activated by pressing the
Touch WiFi Alert button three times. All LEDs and a fast beep indicate a strong
signal. Limited LEDs and slow beep indicate a weak signal.

The audible alarm can be muted by pressing the Touch Alert button once or
remotely from the PC software. After initial set-up audible and visual alerts can
be reconfigured wirelessly from the PC software. This software is available to
download for free from the Support page. Free firmware downloads are also
available.
The device isIEEE 802.11b compliant, supports WEP, WPA/WPA2 and
Enterprise encryption, and has a protection rating of IP44 (with cable
connected).

The Touch Alert can be attached to a wall or flat surface using the bracket or
adhesive pad provided. It is also supplied with a micro USB lead and mains
charger.

The operating temperature range for this product is -20°C to +60°C. However,
when powered by mains or charging the operating temperature range is 0°C to
+40°C.
